Antelope tag for Wy

Hey guys, I pick up my antelope tag this morning right after they went on sale. Had problems printing a receipt but I got it done. Now I have to wait until Oct to roll around.

I saw that you got your tag this AM - you're on your way now!
Last year I got my buck tag online, then picked up a couple of doe tags when I bought my conserv. tag and archery permit in Gillette - along the way toward the hunting ground.

I got my buck antelope tag in the mail yesterday. On the 21st I'm going online to buy a couple of doe/fawn licenses, as Captbill is out of meat and I told him I'd shoot a couple for him and drop the meat to him on my way home! The 25-06 is going to get some use this year, yehaw!

Is that the only unit you have hunted in?
I hunt in 7 for antelope and the same area for deer.

car---I've hunted 23 before and that is where I sent Captbill and Karen last year. They flew into Rapid City and rented a vehicle to go over and stayed in Gillette, then hunted the west side of 23 and he got three!!!

That's one thing about hunting antelope in Wy. There is alot of good public land to hunt for everyone.

Bowhunting antelope's one of my dream hunts. Guess when the time comes, I'll go the outfitter route. Hoping to try & head out that way (Wyoming) next year. Gonna try & retire next year, too, so time off shouldn't be a problem!!!
