Antelope hunt - Tuesday, October 19, 2010 3:55 PM ( #1 )
I think everything had bullet proof vests on this weekend. I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. Soooooo embarrassed. The closest goat was 275 yds. It was the only one close enough for the range finder to work. Plus I missed 2 yotes this morn. The worst part is that the 275 goat was huge. his head looked like Reggie White walking around with his arms up in the air. I can't blame the gun, I  0ed it yesterday morn before we went. I'll go back in a couple weeks and githrow some more lead at them.

Sometimes it just don't happen Rik, that's why they call it huntin. If it was easy there wouldn't be any fun in it. Besides the wimps would want to play too. Better luck next go round.

I know it'll be difficult to believe, 'rik ... but I, too, have had days like that ... more than several of 'em, in fact ...

Hope it goes better next time around ...

Well maybe if I'm lucky I'll not have several days of misses because of my several misses in one day. I see I didn't mention the other 2 bucks. But in my defence they were a long ways out there. 500 yd range. Mon. afternoon and tues. morn I missed 2 yotes and 3 goats. I had to go home and stop at Cabelas for more bullets. Oh well, Thanx for the kind words guys.

Yeah but it is ussually the one behind the one you are shooting at. Everyone out here says shoot at the one running infront of the one you want to hit. They are fast. Atleast they don't bounce up and down like deer.
