Admiral or Maxxis 31 - Monday, December 28, 2009 6:26 PM ( #1 )
The wife is getting a new bow next month. It's either gonna be the Admiral by Bowtech or The new Maxxis 31 from Hoyt. All the reviews are pretty fair. Any of you guys have any input for or against? I shoot an Alpine so you ain't gonna hurt my feelings if you tell me any bad points on either of these bows. I'd appreciate any info you guys can give on these two bows. I just haven't had a chance to get her to the bow shop and shoot them.

KO, as good as the bows are getting it's really pretty hard to go wrong, as long as she get the one that she feels best about after shooting it there should be no reason to look back and second guess. Good luck and tell her congratualtions on whatever she picks, a new bow is always a joy.

That's pretty much how I feel about it. SHe was wanting to order something online sight unseen. I told her she needs to go shoot a few new bows before she decides. We're gonna head to the shop in Georgia next month and have her shoot a few, pick one out and get it setup for her all at the same visit. I'm looking forward to it. Of course I'll be on the look out for any new things I might want to give a try
