4 more Days

Well, the Dr. gave me the good news today: I can shoot again! I have been out of it sense surgery first of Nov and did get a doe and 8pt buck shooting a .308 left handed. But I can start shooting the right way and Saturday starts our ML season for 4 days. Going to take the boys out Saturday and Sunday and Mommy out Monday and Tuesday. Really need to get some as we normally have 10/15 in the freezer and canner (and we are out of canned deer meat now) by now. As we run beef on the farm, won’t go hungry but the boys and I really love deer and will not butcher a beef till running low on deer as the boys will pass up the best cut of beef for some trashy cuts of deer.

Good deal 7th and good luck to you and the family.  I believe I would have to side with the boys on passing on good beef for trashy venison. Can't beat the "Good Red Meat".

  Good deal, 7th!  Good luck fillin' that freezer.  Can't go wrong with "mountain beef!"
   My seasons are over with one in the freezer, better than none.  To add "injury to insult...."  I just had my dogs outside and saw some tracks in the snow in front of my picture window.  Don't you know my local deer came right up to the house to dine on some of my shrubs!!  Then again, maybe they were making faces at me through the window!!
