2nd Leg IBO National Championship

I will be attending the 2nd leg of the IBO National Championship near Erie, PA at the Gem City Sportsmans Club on June 13th thru 15th.
 
Hopefully I can carry the momentum I have been having at local shoots into the National Championship shoot
 
This is my first year competing at this level, so hopefully I at least finish with a respectable score

Should be shooting the first course early morning, I hope, I'll be unable to get on here til Sunday evening, but I'll post how I do when I get back on here.

Got back from the IBO second leg this afternoon.

I shot my required 40 targets yesterday, hoping to beat the bad weather comming in.  Managed to finish just ahead of a severe thunderstorm.

I did fairly well for my first year at a major tournament.  My final score was 308/400.  Probably won't get me a top 20 finish, but I still feel good about producing a decent score.

I'll be going to Nelsonville, OH next month for the 3rd leg, in an attempt to acquire that coveted invite to the World Championship held in Ellicotville, NY in August.

Good luck to anyone still waiting to finish the 2nd leg shoot.

Results were released this morning for the IBO 2nd Leg National Championship and I finished 142nd in the MBO class.

Now if I can just improve that and keep my head out of my butt at Nelsonville, OH next month during the 3rd Leg, I should be able to get my coveted invite to Worlds in August.
