Re:2011 spring bear season - Saturday, July 16, 2011 3:00 PM ( #21 )
no the first 2 bears I posted are not the same bear.
if you look close the first one has a battle scars everywhere.
right ear torn off  & scar on left temple. he was missing main canine tooth.
& a bunch of other unique scars.
the other bear had a great pelt & no unique scars.
& no Tanis has not taken a bear yet
she enjoys watching them.....maybe next year we will get her a tag.
she wants to get a buck on the ground first thou

I wish I could, but that's the start of my 11 week road trip this year and I'll be out with my Wy buddy chasing bull elk in AZ from the 9th to the 22nd before heading back to Wyoming.  It sounds like the bears are there!  Did you take those two out of the Giraffe Lake camp where I was in 2009?

Wow, wished I had the extra money. Love bear hunting, I had lost my job the last of June and I had planing on doing a swap/bear hunt in NC this Oct. I save enough money to cover the cost of doing the swap. So I'm still going to do it unless I find a job and can't get the time off. You shouldn't have a problem filling that last spot.
